Are you living in the Netherlands, work as a Software Engineer and do you have at least 5 years hands-on experience with Java? Then we are looking for you!
Our name actually says what we are and who we are looking for: Java developers with a certain set of qualities. Every person is different and has different skills and (less) good qualities. With us you can be yourself and you will receive assignments that do justice to your qualities!
In doing so, we make a nice bridge to the three pillars of Sultans of Java: Together, Freedom and Reward.
Within the Sultans of Java you are an individual with your own wishes, standards and values. We are happy to give you the space you needed. This way we can learn from each other and we have an environment in which you can be yourself, feel safe, help each other, discuss and innovate with each other. Together you know more and achieve more. Together everyone is like themselves, but together. Sultans of Java is therefore a very flat organization. We have no management layers. We have one layer, we together!
We no longer live in a time in which people allow themselves to be controlled. We IT workers have always had a healthy dose of stubbornness and we should! We want to make our own choices, choose our own path. At Sultans of Java, you choose which project you would like to work on. Client, content of the assignment, travel distance, rate, balance between work and leisure: you decide.
Sultans of Java has been working for many years (1999) using the midlance model. As a result, you earn an excellent salary with us, which in most cases comes down to your current gross salary but net to your account! Earn as a freelancer / self-employed person, but without all the extra work in the field of sales / sales, taxes, contracts, administration, payment risks, no income with no assignment and many more benefits.
In 2019 we celebrated the 20th anniversary of 3 of our employees. We also have 2 jubilees who have been with us for 12.5 years now. Certainly in our IT world, that is a great thing that almost never happens. We celebrated this in a fun way, of course, but it also says something about our organization! So we do something good together that ensures that people continue to enjoy themselves for so long. We are very happy about that and very proud of it! Hopefully we can also work with you towards an anniversary at Sultans of Java!
